The aim of the project:

Development of a project to plan the establishment of a program budget

In the scopes of the project the members of the Imereti branch participated in the public financial management training seminars held by the Urban Institute, which resulted the formation of the working groups in the branch. The working group continued to work on Kutaisi city program budget, financial policy paper, in order to develop the budget programs and subprograms.

As a result of the project the new forms of budget applications were introduced in Kutaisi budget organizations, which allows each budget unit to become more transparent in spending; The accountants of  150 budget organizations have been trained.

At the end of the project a detailed action plan for the formation of Kutaisi program budget has been developed.
