Everything about the legislation and procedures for the local governments

The aim of the project:

To support the local governments to raise the awareness about permanently changing legislation and procedures and to contribute to the introduction of the law.

In the scopes of the project was implemented the systematization-coding and analysis of the legislation regulating the self government, based on that the easy to read electronic handbook - “Everything about the legislation and procedures for the local governments” was developed. In line with the handbook an electronic map of Georgia was developed, which includes the information about all self governing Cities and municipalities, their administrative borders, populated areas, rivers, roads, the number of population, area and other statistical data.  The developed handbook and the map were recorder on the CDs and provided to every self governing unit.The handbook was updated twice during the project implementation adding all the legislative amendments introduced during the project period and the mentioned materials were timely provided to the self government.

The project beneficiaries: local self-government, civil society.
