The aim of the project:
The AYEG has conducted the Georgian CSOs Advocacy capacity assessment survey. The survey was conducted in the scopes of the contract with the Policy, Advocacy, and Civil Society development in Georgia (G-PAC). The project was funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by East West Management Institute, Inc. (EWMI).
Based on the survey results was developed the advocacy capacity building program. As a result of the survey the CSOs’ Advocacy experience was identified and also the capacity and the opportunities of the efficient advocacy were assessed. The assessment identified potential gaps that negatively affect the implementation of the efficient advocacy of the CSOs.
The 100 CSOs’ Advocacy Capacity Assessment was conducted all over Georgia. Also, 12 focus-group meetings with citizens were held and desk research was conducted.
