On the 15^th – 16^th of May 2015 the 2 day ”Financial accounting” trainings were provided for the members of the established agricultural cooperatives in the scopes of the “WACE” project organized by the AYEG. 19 women entrepreneurs (heads of the cooperatives and accountants) have passed the training course.

The aim of the training was to increase the knowledge of the participants about the financial accounting, in order to enable them in future to establish proper record keeping in the cooperatives, independently provide accounting, declaration of taxes, etc.

The “Financial accounting” work-book was elaborated, which included the practical exercises and cases together with the theoretical issues and also the useful forms and templates for the finances and taxes.

At the end of the trainings the WIC representatives conducted the trainings in Financial Reporting and Regulations. The cooperatives were introduced to the forms and templates, required for reporting and regulations.

The Financial Accounting trainings were implemented in the scopes of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”, which is being implemented by the Women Information Centre, by the USAID financial support, in partnership with Association of Young Economists of Georgia, “Taso” foundation, Institute for War and Peace Reporting and the local NGO from Gali.
