AYEG’s internal consultant in self-governance issues MS Mariam Jibuti attended trainings in Poland and Germany

On the 17th of September – 5th of October 2015, AYEG’s internal consultant in self-governance issues MS Mariam Jibuti attended trainings in Poland and Germany. The trainings covered following modules: local self-governance in EU, basis of self-governance, positive effects of decentralization.  Apart from trainings several meetings were conducted in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, German Bundestag, German Bundesrat, executive bodies of the cities (City Hall), Ministry of Infrastructure and other Ministries, local NGO offices. During the meetings, participants received detailed information about the experience of countries, positive outcomes of decentralization, governance structure and management process.
