In the scopes of the project “Strong Local Governance through Enhanced Civil Participation”, on 15-16 of October Association of Young Economists of Georgia piloted the assessment tool with the representatives of local government of Akhaltsikhe and Adigeni municipalities and the local villagers.
On the first day of piloting the representative of AYEG presented “assessment tool” to local government of Akhaltsikhe and Adigeni municipalities. “Assessment tool” was drafted by AYEG experts. The tool is based on the best local and international practice. The tool is created for helping local government in preparing of their budget and programs, based on community needs.
The second day of piloting was attended by the local government and the local villagers. During the meetings representatives of LG used methodology developed by AYEG in practice.
