On the 11th – 15th of November 2015 the 4 day ”Cooperative development” trainings were provided for the members of the established agricultural cooperatives in the scopes of the “WACE” project organized by the AYEG. 15 representatives of cooperatives have passed the training course.
The aim of the training was to increase the knowledge of the participants about the cooperative management and development, in order to enable them in future to develop and increase their cooperatives.
The training modules were defined according to the needs and requirements of the established cooperatives. The following modules were conducted:
The training included the practical exercises, group works and discussions together with the theoretical issues.
At the end of the trainings each cooperative has elaborated their development business plans.
The training participants were awarded with the certificates.
The cooperative development trainings were implemented in the scopes of the project “Women as agents for change and empowerment”, which is being implemented by the Women Information Centre, by the USAID financial support, in partnership with Association of Young Economists of Georgia, “Taso” foundation, Institute for War and Peace Reporting and the local NGO from Gali.
