Women's Economic Opportunities and Challenges

This publication is prepared by Association of Young Economists of Georgia with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Women’s Information Centre (WIC) in the framework of the Program “Women as Agents for Change and Empowerment”.

This desk research aims to evaluate the economic state of women and reveal their entrepreneurial opportunities. The basic emphasis is made on identification of the challenges faced by the women residing in rural areas, also, developing recommendations which will promote economical empowerment of women.
